ANCHO POBLANO PEPPERS / PASILLA PEPPERS HARVEST

we are going to see how to harvest poblano peppers in case you're in know about poblanos they are a nice spicy and very delicious variety of pepper that you can grow I usually buy the seeds or I just pick up the the transplants from Home Depot or Lowe's or you can check your local garden center so let's begin harvesting a few the key to growing good poblano peppers or any papers for that matter is give them good amounts of Epsom salt I think it works really well epsom salts contain magnesium and sulfate and that seems to do wonders for the pepper plants so as you can see we have some good sized poblano peppers if you're harvesting today and most of it is because you know that the pepper size really depends on a lot of nutrition that it gets during the fruiting period and for some reason as I mentioned Epsom salt is is just amazing for your pepper plants poblano peppers can grow very well in containers as well I would suggest using at least a 15 inch or a wider container the one that you're looking at right now is a whiskey barrel it's like half whiskey barrel and the pepper plants seem to grow really well in that peppers tomatoes you can grow really plants it gets really big in these whiskey barrels and they seem to do well as you can see recurring some decent-size eater peppers from the this container as well so yes they do grow equally well in containers as it to on the ground so let's keep harvesting from the container that comes not down let's grab this one that seems to be good and I think you're pretty much done with this container yes and you as you can see even just use some some stake some trellis to support your peppers while they grow or they seem to do well with the support and staking so this is how our harvest looks like it's all ready to be cooked it looks like a good harvest
