rid of white flies and aphids in your garden so this product that we are
seeing today is the sticky white fly aphid trap that claims to control white
flies, aphids, fungus gnats, leaf miners and thrips
it comes in a pack of 10 these are pretty
much very straightforward yellow color traps that have this
coating on them that you just peel off it's just a protective paper that's
hiding the glue underneath and once you remove the cover you can see that there
is this nice flashy yellow trap inside and it's a very sticky surface so the
idea is that if it's and white flies that get attracted to the yellow color
come and sit on it and then they pretty much get stuck to the surface and it
provides quite a large surface area and it also comes with these ties that
you can use to secure these traps easily to any kind of post or some area now I
use this in the summer season as well as in the fall season as you can see here I
have some stakes along my raised beds and it's very easy to tie them to these
kind of stakes and if you have white flies just shake your plants a little
bit the white flies will fly and get stuck on these traps and you can see
here there's this aphid that you can see that got stuck to this trap and I
just shook the plant a little bit and over a period of time you will see that
a lot of white flies and aphids get attracted to this yellow trap now it
works really well against aphids and white flies I've been able to
successfully control aphids and white flies easily in my garden by using these
traps you can see some more aphids here the green colored ones and even in the
fall season you will have a problem with aphids on your cabbages and other
brassicas so this is a good idea to get rid of those insects in your garden
and as you can see here over a period of time you will see more and more insects
that are attracted to this trap and the best part about this trap that I found
was that the beneficial insects like bees and other pollinators do not get
stuck on the trap and I don't know how this works but so far I haven't seen a
single beneficial insect it's only the white flies the moths that lay eggs on
your plans that form the loopers and the caterpillars that get trapped in
this trap so overall it's a great quality product and it's quite effective
you'll be surprised at how many critters you are able to catch with this simple
