what are some common mistakes that you
can avoid so using a speed is not really
the right way to harvest garlic so I use
a garden fork to harvest garlic instead
of a spade it just works a lot better
just set the fork in and just displays
the soil like that and the garlic plant
comes right off it's that easy so as you
can see this is an elephant garlic it's
a little larger than a regular garlic
when you harvest your garlic it's going
to have a lot of moisture so you need to
cure it properly and that's exactly what

leave the garlic to dry in the Sun for
about 30 minutes to an hour you don't
want to leave it out too long because it
reduces its flavor
the cure garlic just keep it in a
well-ventilated area like you can Raj
for about a week or two so after about
two weeks you're gonna see that the
garlic has formed a hard shell around it
the moisture is gone and your garlic can
now be used
